What is the difference between a company badge vs. a project badge?
An employee can be issued either a company badge or a project badge, but each offers slightly different access.
Company Badges - If a badge is issued to an employee under Company > Smart Badges, that employee can use that badge for any projects they are added to under that company. For example, if Mountain General Contracting provides a company badge to their safety manager Karen, then she is added to three of their projects, Karen can use that same badge for all three projects.
Project Badges - If a badge is issued to an employee under Project > Smart Badges, that employee will only be able to use that badge for that specific project.
Note: If a company employee just needs to see and manage projects and will not be on site, their permissions can be adjusted for this. To see and manage all projects, becoming a company admin may be best. If they only need to manage aspects of specific projects, consider granting them project admin access.
