NFC Badge/Decal
Near Field Communication (NFC), the same technology used on credit cards and debit cards for a contactless tap payment. This means, profiles are secure and can be updated/viewed in real time. Near to the brick tap is required.
Bluetooth Badge
Bluetooth Passive Badges can be read upwards of 140 feet from the nearest Smart Brick tracking time and attendance and identifying unqualified workers. THe best option for larger footprints.
Note: These badges are only needed for Visitors on projects in the 5 boroughs in NYC. The SST card is used by the general workforce as an access control badge and all SST card certifications for workers can be pulled into the project data. This ensures all workers have a real, valid and up to date SST card on their person daily (when Smart Bricks are being used or turnstiles with our Smart Bricks integrated are being used on the project for attribution based access control).
